Are all Labradoodles & Cockapoo's allergy and asthma friendly? & Coat Type ?
Yes and No ! .... It depends on the breeding! Our F1's have a high success rate with allergy and asthma sufferers because they have low / non-shedding fleece coat. This is due to the type of coat of our Mums have. Our full pedigree Kennel Club Registered Labradors and Cocker Spaniels are from show lines which have the (Double Coat). This makes all the difference.
Most working Labradors, Cocker Spaniels & Unregistered "Pets" which can be a cross breed of the "2 types" of Labrador or Cocker Spaniel. ( Working, Show & Mixed Unregistered non pedigree) this type of Labrador have a single coat which is prone to moult and cause reactions to allergy sufferers.
Our F1 Puppies have a shaggy coat which is like a fleece It is not curly like a poodle and this type of labradoodle coat is the most sort after.
Our Cockapoo puppies have a very soft coat / Teddy bear fleece coat that is straight/ slight wave, which is non/ Low moulting. Very soft in texture and will need to be groomed regularly to maintain.
Are your puppies wormed and vaccinated & Micro chipped?
Our puppies are regularly wormed from 2 weeks of age with Panacur 10%. We provide details of treatment when you collect your puppy. You will also be given details of the course you are to maintain throughout your dogs life.
*Our puppies are micro chipped..
*1st Vaccinations are given and a Full Vet Health Check Certificates given on collection.
How tall will my puppy grow ?
We aim for :
*Our Miniature Labradoodle F1 puppies to grow to around 15 inch - 17 inch.
*Our Cockapoo's grow to and average of 13inch - 15 inch
They are compact and sturdy with the added bonus of being a great all round dog suited to a variety of Families and Couples.
What is the cost for your puppies ?
Our puppies are individually priced which will be discussed with you upon availability.
Are your puppies well socialised?
We spend hours and hours socialising and interacting with our puppies to make sure that they are ready to make the transition to your home. We do create awareness to the public to be mindful of puppy farms or buying from breeders who have kennels. These types of puppies will not have had the social aspect or use to house hold noises. They will have been brought up in and around the kennel so will take much longer to adapt to your home life. The environment of a kennel is a sad place for a puppy to spend 8 weeks or longer.
We are keen to promote excellent home breeders such as ourselves, with Kennel Club certificates and extensive health testing. Our aim is to produce the very best and that takes a lot of work and expense. We love what we do and are extremely proud of our puppies. We have never bred a sick or unhealthy puppy as we are forever keen to excel with our litters.
At what stage can we come to view the puppies?
Our puppies can only be seen once they have turned four / five weeks old. This is to reduce the risk of infection, because young puppies are very susceptible to bacteria and viruses in the environment. We will not make any exceptions to this rule.
When will the puppies be ready to go to their new homes?
Our puppies are usually ready for their new homes when they are 8 weeks old.
What about insurance?
Whilst we do our very best and have an extensive health screening regime here at Worsley Labrdoodles, this does not guarantee that your puppy will never be unwell or have an accident. An important part of responsible dog ownership is ensuring that you are in a position to pay for any veterinary care that your dog might require, which usually means taking out pet insurance.
We suggest you do some thorough research, and take out a ‘lifetime’ policy as opposed to an annual policy, so that the insurer does not have the opportunity to exclude certain conditions when it comes to renewal time. Usually for around the cost of a mobile phone contract, you can have the piece of mind that should major veterinary treatment be needed, you’re in a position to pay for it.
Our puppies are provided with 4 weeks Insurance with PetPlan, if you wish a more extensive cover please arrange this before collection.
What are the puppies fed on?
Our puppies are fed a good quality dry puppy called Eukanuba Puppy Chicken or Lamb (Small / Medium). We will provide full details of this and a bag so that you can continue to feed the same.
What is the difference between a cheaper puppy and a Worsley Doodles puppy.
First and foremost as with anything. " Cheap " is never going to be a good idea. Especially when buying a puppy! There are many Websites and Media covering the disadvantages of buy from a puppy farm or uneducated breeders known as.
" back street breeders". I would recommend to do your research at great lengths, asking as many questions as possible a good Breeder will also be interviewing you just as much as you are them !.
We are very experienced breeders with 15 yrs of breeding the labradoodle and 20 years of breeding and showing the Labrador. Our Dogs are firstly our pets and with that we sourced the very best pedigrees in the world. Our Labradors are bred to the very highest of standards by Health Tested & Kennel Club Registered Parents, all traceable via the Kennel club.
Our Dogs are also Health tested and Kennel Club Registered.
When sourcing a " stud " we seek a perfect Match that we travel at great distance to meet which can be up to 3 times, sometimes staying in a hotel. The stud is to be of equal high Kennel Club Pedigree and Health tested.
Many back street breeders also work in the daytime, these puppies do not have any interaction at all ! or they are kept in awful conditions in barns or kennels.
These puppies will not have any social skills and will not be prepared for a house full of new noises and "rules".
With this comes many behavioural problems as your puppy develops. These "cheap" puppies will also not have a pedigree and not have any health tested parents. Which means your puppy could have inherited eye conditions or hip displacement, they could also be infested with worms, fleas or ear mites. All these issues will not be noticeable as your puppy is so young and these conditions will not appear straight away. These puppies will cost you dearly in vet bills throughout the puppies life which will be around 12 years of expensive treatments.
We are very lucky to work from home and always around our puppies. We spend a great deal of time with them attending to all their daily needs. They are born in our kitchen and thrive being in the "hub" of our busy home life.
We believe our puppies to be the very best, and we pride ourselves with the time, love, care and dedication we put into our litter.

What health problems affect Labradoodles?
Labradoodles are generally very healthy dogs. The main thing to watch out for is ear infections; however, this can usually be prevented by plucking the hair out of the ear canal and ensuring that the ears are kept clean. We will explain this to you when you visit. Our breeding dogs are extensively health screened prior to being bred in efforts to make sure that our puppies will live long and healthy lives.
Male or Female?
Both males and females make excellent family pets. There are no distinct differences between them in terms of temperament – both are excellent. As with every puppy its is how you bring them up in this world. We do recommend puppy training classes and good dog citizen award training programs. These courses are easily found in your local areas.
